Right then here goes!
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostava because I love history, I studied history at university and I have always wished I could go on some kind of quest!
The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy. One of the first classics I read I think and I love it so it has good memories for me.
So Many Books, So Little Time by Sara Nelson because I love books and reading and I love books about books and reading. There are just so many similarities to me in this book.
The Stand by Stephen King because this is one of the few books I am happy to reread and it Stephen King represents one pf the ways I went into books for adults as a child.
Educating Esme by Esme Raji Codell because she was a fantastic teacher that really inspired the kids she taught. She now is an advocate for getting kids to read.

Yes, I think it's really TWO challenges. The first challenge is to choose your book list, and the second challenge is to read your book list. It's definitely challenging to pick a list..!

Hey, don't worry. I agree, book lists are hard, and they keep changing! It took me about a month before I could finally decide. :)

But in the end, I'm sure you'll have fun.

I have a Stephen King book as well. I had a hard time choosing between The Stand and The Talisman--I picked the the latter! But the stand is still one of my all-time favorite books.

I just finished reading So Many Books, So Little Time. It was great...I identified with so many of the things she wrote about.

Educating Esme is one of my favorites too. Loved it! And The Stand is on my TBR Challenge list, so I'll be reading that one for sure. Great list!

I've read The Historian, The Stand, and Educating Esme, and loved them all! I'm considering the Hardy, because I like him, but I haven't read Mayor, and I KNOW I'm choosing SMBSLT because I've been dying to read it.
