Another Question...

I love this challenge so much that I've already started to read the books I had planned for this challenge. I keep replacing them, but I keep reading those too. Should I keep replacing them, while I wait for August to come around? Can I also count the books that I've started reading already for this challenge? Also, do re-reads count? Here's my list that I had planned. In bold are the ones that I've read in the last week or two, in pink are the ones that I'm reading now.

The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger
The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova
The Polysyllabic Spree by Nick Hornby
To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
The Tale of Despereaux by Kate Dicamillo
Leave me alone I'm reading by Maureen Corrigan
Chocolat by Joann Harris

My alternates:
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl
I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Just Ella by Margaret Peterson Haddix
Gift from the Sea by Anne Marrow Lindbergh
Why I wore lipstick to my mastectomy by Geralyn Lucas

Thanks,
Vasilly

Hey, read away!! I never dreamed that there would be so many books to choose from. I'm going to give a prize at the beginning from all those participating, and then one at the end for all who said they finished what they had planned. Outside of that, I'm loose and it's on the honor system. I, too, want to read way more than I'm going to manage within the time frame.

Vasilly - I've made a list (on my blog) of all the books I've already read, then a separate list of the books I WANT to read at some point (which are about 43!) and then I've highlighted the ones I'll read during the challenge. There are so many great books, and I want to read at least one from each list. You can see what I'm doing here: http://caribousmom.blogharbor.com/blog/_archives/2007/5/22/2968187.html

Thanks, Lisa! I absoltely love this challenge. It's so interesting to see everyone's choices. I doubt, Wendy, I'm going to have any books left over from the challenge to read after the challenge is over! You're right though, there are so many great books to choose from.

I started reading already too. I put some of the books on hold at the library, and a couple came in sooner than I expected, so I had to either read them now or give them back and put another hold on them.

Question: When we start reading, will we be posting reviews in this blog? If so, if we HAVE started reading already, should we wait til August to start posting, or would it be better to start now?
